The 70th Annual Technical Conference will be held on March 18–21, 2018 in Baltimore, Maryland, at the Sheraton Inner Harbor Hotel. TAGA’s annual technical conference is the only international conference for the graphic arts industry that features technical and innovation papers on research straight from the laboratory, studies from the pressroom, and software and engineering systems. TAGA serves the chief technology officer, chief information officer, and research & development management personnel of printers, publishers, and pre-media companies, as well as engineers and scientists employed by graphic arts systems and equipment manufacturers. TAGA focuses on graphic arts systems, software, and computer technology developments, in addition to the more traditional areas of press, ink, and paper engineering applications. Additionally, the association provides guidance and support to its student chapters around the world.

TAGA has reserved a special block of rooms for conference attendees at a discounted rate of US$149 single/double plus current state and local taxes. Please use program code TAGA Technical Conference when making your reservations to receive this discounted rate. Be sure to make your reservations by February 28, 2018 to secure this rate. Please note that the block may sell out prior to that date. After this date, the hotel will accept reservations on a space-and-rate-available basis.

Airport

Baltimore–Washington International Airport will be airport all attendees flying will be arriving. It is 20 minutes from the hotel by car and 40 minutes by light-rail.


Spouse/Companion/Guest Registration

Spouse/companions/guests are welcome to attend any or all events associated with the conference—additional registration fees will apply. All guests must be registered in advance and have a badge to gain access to any conference-related session, meal functions, refreshment breaks, and events.
