Sales Compensation and Incentive Plans—Samples from the Industry was developed as a result of numerous requests for this type of information. The Sales and Marketing Executives (S&ME) and Printing Industry Financial Executives (PIFE), special sections of Printing Industries of America, asked their members to provide copies of their compensation plans or directives that they use to calculate sales compensation and incentive payments.

The book provides 26 examples of straight commission plans and value-added commission plans, which vary widely in length and detail. It is organized in several sections so that you can quickly find a comparable printer. This way you can review compensation and incentive plans of companies that are similar to your company. We have grouped the plans by the total number of employees in the company as follows: 1 to 50 employees, 51 to 100 employees, 101 to 250 employees, and 250 or more employees.
